Welcome!

Firstly, welcome to my humble blog! It's certainly quite a pleasure to see you here. As you may have already guessed, my blog will be focused on stationery, especially pens. I've always had a thing for pens. I was *that* child in primary school, the one with minimum 20 pens (scented and/or gel, of course) and a multitude of erasers, sharpeners and pencils all shoved into a bulging pencil case. That was me, and it still is, actually. There is something therapeutic about holding a fine writing instrument in your hand, with your favourite notebook in front of you (a good old lined Pukka Pad for me, actually) and relishing the instant you put pen to paper. Gently put your hand down, watching carefully as the pen makes contact with the paper, blotting slightly as you make your first stroke. Simply mesmerising, I say. Howver, it isn't always mesmerising. Sadly, you can get a dodgy pen, one that looked promising but turned out to be anything but, or you can buy a pen which all

Papermate Flair! Felt Tip Pen

First and foremost - I don't use a lot of felt-tip pens, but my god this is one fine felt-tip. Papermate is a pretty cute pen brand, well-known for their shockingly smooth gliding pens and mesmerising mechanical pencils (another blog post coming), so I surmised their felt tips must be worth a try. That - and the fact  that I saw many bujo gurus sporting this felt-tip. These are widely available, in virtually any stationery store, @ roughly €2 each (give or take a few), and are sold individually. My blue Flair! came in a carded packaging. This seemed a little unnecessary (and not so environmentally friendly) to me. Although seemingly not so expensive, felt-tips usually come in a pack, so if one was to buy multiple, financially speaking, it wouldn't be ideal. The felt-tip itself is sleek and chic in outlook, the shining silver clip certainly adds to the fanciness. It fits in my hand comfortably - though admittedly I am not exactly writing assignments with it. That b

Hey guys, here's a little video I made about my blog - hope you enjoy :)

Uni Jetstream 0.7

Another beautiful specimen by Uniball - no one makes pens like they do in Japan. Seriously, how do they do it? Now, this is certainly quite a popular who needs no introduction. I completely understand its fame - it's a ballpoint that doesn't feel like a ballpoint! A curious conundrum indeed, so I hat to go try it out. The availability of this pen was surprising, not as widespread as I thought, but it will turn up with some diligence. At €4 per pen, they are quite pricey but trust me when I say its worth it. Its exterior is unassuming, you wouldn't call it basic but it's definitely not eye-catching either, however, do not judge a book by its cover. This was one of the smoothest pens I have ever used. It literally slides along your page, to the point where you're almost forced to write in cursive to keep up. The ink flows along perfectly - no splotches whatsoever. The 0.7 nib creates lines of unmatched thickness. The jetstream fits well in my hand, although t
